Since 2008, Joansville was established by three university alumni, who united in the belief that good products could change the world. The company name "Joansville" means "Joans' Village." It comes from Joan, the English nickname for one of the founders. Ms. Joan has been working hard to provide better food and environment for her children, and we wanted to incorporate her spirit into the company's startup process. As the first item, we started by importing organic candy YummyEarth made by father to feed their allergic daughter and distributing them to the Korean market. After three years of distributing organic lollipops YummyEarth, supply contract with major department stores and largest retail across the country, and signed an exclusive contract with Yummy Earth in 2011 to do YummyEarth-related business in the Korean market. Yummy Earth products are sold in Korea's major distribution markets, from large retail to local supermarkets we supply about 5,000 stores.
