- Orteas Ceremonial Matcha is crafted with the precision and passion of a tea master who has perfected the art of tea-making for over 20 years. It is made from young leaves that are shaded in early spring, then carefully harvested, and processed into premium matcha. Using a single cultivar optimized for matcha, it delivers a vibrant green color and a harmonious balance of flavor.
About us
- Orteas is an abbreviation for “Organic Tea House” and a certified organic tea farm. Since 2006, we have nurtured about 100,000 tea trees and cultivated tea leaves directly at our own tea farm in Jeju’s mid-mountain region, where we produce, process, and distribute both matcha and loose-leaf teas. Minerals from volcanic scoria and basaltic spring water, along with the fragrance of wild flowers and trees carried by the wind, enrich the taste and aroma of the tea.
