Inspirably, Anthracite was set up as a small roastery cafe close to a thermoelectric power plant. An exterior view of Anthracite is not that different from old factories. As you walk in to the café you may have a sense of bands like Pink Floyd and Bad Plus combined with a typical coffee atmosphere. After passing the counter, you enter the roasting room where there are Probat and Gothot roasters that emit the deep aroma of fresh coffee and tell a story. Stepping upstairs you can find Anthracite Cafe, which is mingled with big tables, chairs and a high ceiling. This beautiful old building that was previously used for other purposes, is now the key foundation of Anthracite. Our artistic roasting place employs proper ways of space regeneration and self-sufficiency.
