Urban Coffee Roaster (U.C.R.) is an award-winning specialty coffee brand based in Hong Kong. Founded in 2014, we are committed to direct trade with global coffee farmers, fresh local roasting, and strict traceability and sustainability, all dedicated to delivering the ultimate coffee experience to our customers.

The brand has achieved outstanding success on the international stage. Co-founder Gary Au won a double championship at both the Hong Kong Barista Championship and the Hong Kong Coffee in Good Spirits Championship in 2024. He went on to represent Hong Kong at the World Coffee in Good Spirits Championship, securing an impressive 6th place globally.

U.C.R. currently operates a state-of-the-art coffee roasting lab and 7 locations across Hong Kong. Its first overseas branch has opened in Tokyo, bringing Urban Coffee Roaster’s signature flavors and sensory experience to coffee lovers in Japan.
