  • Every coffee begins with a farmer's choices. From a single tree bearing fruit to a finished cup, countless decisions shape its flavor and aroma.

    At Coffeenap Roasters, we seek out the true character of each coffee at every stage of that journey. To us, roasting is not simply the act of heating beans. It is the work of expressing the story within them as honestly and deliciously as possible. That is why we are not bound by a fixed method, and we focus instead on drawing out the unique qualities and potential of every bean.

    At the cupping table, we taste and smell each coffee ourselves and our roast in the direction that is truest to that bean and most memorable. Along the way, we strip away what is unnecessary and try to understand how the coffee was grown and which decisions shaped its taste.

    To introduce the pure flavor of well-grown green coffee in the best way we can: that is what Coffeenap Roasters does, and it is the most honest way we know to approach coffee.

    317 is Coffeenap Roasters' first blend, built from coffees from India, Guatemala and Ethiopia. Within the world of specialty coffee, we imagined a high-quality cup that anyone could enjoy every day, without the hesitation some people feel toward acidity.     HOUSE BLEND 218

    218 is made by combining green coffee from two Ethiopian farms in a 1:1 ratio. It is Coffeenap Roasters' second blend, created to solve a problem with single origins: climate change has been lowering the cup quality of coffees we once offered as single origins.     HOUSE BLEND 420

    Blend 420 was created to offer something a little more special: a coffee to sit with and focus on entirely. We wanted a bright, direct citrus acidity rather than subtlety, along with a firm body, real complexity and a deep, concentrated sweetness. Getting there took many different roast profiles, and we settled on a final blend of Ethiopia, Kenya, Costa Rica and Colombia. The result came very close to what our roaster had imagined, and 420 is steadily gaining a devoted following.
