About us

  • 'Guru Coffee Roasters' is an online and offline store that offers various coffee-related solutions. We provide comprehensive services to customers through delivery of coffee beans, startup consulting, education about coffee, and so on. Also, we continue to improve our capabilities by participating in many events. In 2020, we won 3rd place at the Korea Coffee Roasting Championship (KCRC), and in 2022, we won 1st place in House Blend section of Golden Coffee Award (GCA). In addition, we served as an ambassador for Stronghold in 2022.
    The stores are in Gwangyang, Jeollanam-do, and operate as Seocheon store, where people can enjoy coffee and desserts in a comfortable and cozy atmosphere, and Huiyang(main) store, complex cultural space with exhibitions by local artists. We mainly serve specialty coffee and focus on promoting single origin to people. Especially, we held weekly public cupping in the main store to make people get interested in coffee.

    There are two types of ‘house blending coffee beans’. First, type 1 is based on a well-balanced coffee with soft acidity and nutty flavor. Next, type 2 has an overall bittersweet flavor due to dark chocolate and nutty flavor. So, it goes well with milk-based coffee drinks. And, about single origin coffee beans, we use quality green coffee beans rather than focus on particular types by considering each of the different flavor spectrums that can be found in coffee basically.
