About us

  • Ppeoldabang is an exotic roastery cafe located on Seonjae Island Beach by the West Sea. While traveling through Latin America long ago, I visited a coffee farm, which sparked my dream of coffee. After returning to my hometown, I decided to settle down and, to stop wandering, I painted the space myself, creating the feeling of a travel destination. By upcycling drifted fishing gear and planks from the sea, we’re creating an image that urban cafes find hard to afford. We aim to be more than just a cafe that resembles a travel destination our focus is on filling the weary hearts of travelers. We move toward to become a meaningful artistic space, and we are building a system to collaborate with artists. However, since our name includes the word “dabang” (traditional Korean cafe), we believe coffee is the essence of our business. To ensure consistent coffee quality, we stay informed on trends in coffee-growing regions and the climate crisis, and work toward coffee sustainability

    PPEOL BLEND

    PPEOL BLEND is the representative espresso blend of PPEOLDABANG. It is robust yet smooth, offering a rich texture without the burnt or bitter notes often found in dark roasts. It's well-suited for brewing. Just like a mother who joyfully gathered a basketful of clams from the mudflat with nothing but a hoe, we craft our coffee with the same sense of joy. We hope that the breeze of Seonjaedo and the sweetness of the harvest are conveyed in every cup.

    Hola! PPEOLDABANG is designed with Cuba as the inspiration in our hearts. Among its many beautiful destinations, Havana, the capital of Cuba, draws us into a vibrant world filled with colorful imagery, romance, energy, and a sense of freedom, just like a scene from a movie. To capture this fantasy in a cup, we created the Havana blend. The rich specialty coffees sevrve as perfect ingredients to express the spirit of free-spirited Havana.

    PPEOLDABANG DECAFFEINE BLEND

    DECAFFEINE BLEND

    Decaffeinated coffeeundergoes various processes during green bean prcessing to remove caffeine. Three main methods are used : natural CO2, water, and organic solvents, as caffeine dissolves well in solvents like water and alcohol. As these prcesses have evolved, decaffeiated coffee now offers flavors so rich that it's hard to notice the difference, and further advancements are continuously being made. From hot to cool, you can enjoy the smooth flavors of nuts and dark chocolate.
