Established in 2016, near the heart of traditional town Asakusa, Kuramae is now well-liked by not only coffee lovers but also craftsmen. Our roastery’s journey has begun in 2019 since the owner & founder of LCR, Yasuo Ishii, have great desire of becoming the world roasting & brewers champion. At the moment, he owns Probat UG-15 from the 50's, Giesen W6A Stronghold S7X fproduction roast. In 2021, Leaves Coffee was nominated to Sprudge Annual Award of Notable Roaster fthe first time in the history of any Asian roasteries, so far fthe past 2 years in a row. We aim to bring you the best of each origin, which gives the bean its own figure - clean, well balanced, beautiful aroma sweetness. The meaning of the brand name “LEAVES” is to challenge new learn from it like the fallen leaves become nutrients fthe new leaves.
