Located near Ssanggyesa Temple, the birthplace of tea, where Jirisan Mountain Seomjin River flow, Cheongseokgol Gamrochawon cultivates a 200-year-old tea field nestled in an organic wild forest at 700m above sea level. Young tea buds leaves, coexisting with wild animals, wild flowers, insects, butterflies, birds, dew, fog, are hand-picked only once a year in the early spring of Gogucheol. Master Hwang In-su, designated by the Ministry of Agriculture, Food Rural Affairs (No. 91), roasts these leaves nine times in a cast-iron kettle to premium traditional handmade green tea. He also produces six types of tea Gamro Byeongcha, which he exports to the United States.
