In coffee, “concentration” refers to the ratio of water-soluble flavsubstances extracted from the total liquid coffee. The industry typically uses TDS (Total Dissolved Solids) BRIX as metrics to measure coffee concentration. A 25x concentration means that while the recommended direct drinking concentration of coffee is around 1 BRIX, one JiYin Italian espresso straw has a BRIX of 25, hence the 25x concentration.
