Coffee continues to amaze us. From its journey from plant to portafilter, we are obsessed about how amazing coffee is crafted. Whether brewed meticulously over filters, or carefully prepared as an espresso, our goal is to show you coffee’s delicious possibilities. Initially named Pandava Coffee, during our venture in the downstream coffee industry, Aston Utan, Daryanto Witarsa, Yoshua Tanu, and then later Philip Chen, learned to determine the direction of their business. The four founders decided to choose the specialty coffee industry over commercial. Departing from our love for specialty coffee, in 2014, the first Common Grounds Coffee Roaster opened at Citywalk Sudirman in Jakarta, Indonesia. The name ‘Common Grounds’ aims to shared spaces that can connect people of different ages, religions, races, occupations, and interests, to come, find and build relationships with one another through a shared love of coffee.

Crate Coffee: On Filling and Building Crate Coffee is a local cafe and roastery founded in Yongsan-gu, Seoul. While the word crate originally refers to a wooden box, for us it carries a deeper meaning. Beyond serving as a simple physical space, our brand is defined by what and how we choose to fill it. We strive to become a brand that delivers more than beverages and services, offering greater value to our customers. With diverse coffee selections, our goal is to energize modern daily life and memorable experiences. Since opening our flagship store in Hannam-dong in January 2020, we have expanded to Seongsu, where we operate our second location and a roasting lab. At Crate Coffee, we seek out exceptional quality from origins around the world, aiming to fully convey the inherent flavors of green coffee beans. Our coffee embodies a taste that is never overwhelming yet remains distinct?clear, balanced, and comforting from the very first sip to the last.

Pure Water from the Swiss Alps for Coffee and Tea We present ClaroSwiss hybrid water filters, hydrogen softening filters, sodium softening filters, and Mintec’s mineral filters. The wet filter smoke remover (dsmoger) is a water-based smoke purifier that uses both water and filters. Unlike afterburners and electrostatic precipitators, it removes roasting gas in a different way.

DYI WORKSHOP Founded in 2021, we focus on creating an attractive brand that does not deviate from form by adding fun elements to sight, smell, and taste, not just to taste. We will introduce you to a variety of coffee-based products through data and testing from various experiences. In order to preoccupy better raw beans than DYI WORKSHOP, we plan to produce beans through test roasting of green beans from various mountains and cuffing with difficult standards. DYI WORKSHOP Blend Coffee is roasting by professional roasters with various experiences. For constant roasting, the profile is saved with the roasting program and concentrated every hour, every temperature. In addition, the color of the outside and inside is stored as data through a colorimeter. Before shipping, the product is shipped after checking the taste of the beans through cuffing.
